MHP Wet & Dry this dark grey/black waterproof paper is used for fine finishing of hard lacquers, car paint, varnishes and other very hard finishes. It is made from latex backed anti-slip backing paper with a fully resin bonded grit so can be used wet - sanding is best done wet where possible so that the dust forms a slurry which can be wiped away rather than clog the abrasive. Its resin bond also makes it waterproof. It has a lightweight backing so is very flexible and its latex content means it will not tear easily. MHP Wet & Dry is recommended for manually wet sanding plastics, lacquers and composite materials.
